The Vice President, Buliding and Environmental Engineering Services is a key business leaderhsip position responsible for th deelopent of hte areas of building performance and environmental enfineering services across the firm. This position is responsible for Building Science Services (building envelope, energy audits and remediation), Environmental Engineering Services (air and noise emissions, industrial abatemant) and Green House Has (GHG) services Responsibilites: -Grow the overall business through sales and marketing for existing and new clients -Communicate effectively with senior level client contacts to develop new business with existing clients -lead a client oriented and integrated total solution approach to the service under the candidate's responsibility -co-ordinate the engagement of multiple service areas for large clients or projects where multiple services are invovled -initiate and lead company-wide focus groups to continually enhance the firm's services -develop and implement a long-term strategic plan for these service areas -actively contribue towards ideas and decisions as an Executive Committee member of the company -work in partnerhsip or collaborate with other business line leaders in the company to promote the optimization fo key client relationships and strategies -meet or exceed defined business line performances as outlined in the firms annual and long term business plan
-Bright conceptual and strategic thinker -consulting engineering background/ P.Eng. (10 years minimum) -10 years of proven business development experience in consultative environmental sales -established network of cotacts with major institutional, commercial and industrial facilities -excellent verbal/written communication skills, including experience with proposal writing and creating presentations -comprehensive understanding of Ontario/Canadian environmental issues Proven ability to -manage a group of staff of 50 or more -generate growth through the development and implementation of business strategies to maximize opportunities with existing and new clients in public and private sectors This position may require work related travel. Therefore, a valid driver's license, isurance and personal vehicle is required (work-related expenses will be compensated).
