Job Summary:

Our client an award-winning Engineering Consulting firm located in Western Canada has been rapidly growing their Electrical Design, Services and Project Management presence in Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia.
Consisting of over 80+ consultants, designers, technicians, and support staff, they are one of the largest specialized design firms in the niche sectors in British Columbia and Western Canada.

Due to successfully winning mid to large scale engineering projects, the client is seeking a Proposal Coordinator for Vancouver.

Job Duties:
  • Developing proposals and qualification packages that compel clients to select client preferred vendor.
  • Cross collaboration internal staff and stakeholders to grasp key issues, solutions and develop key competitive differentiators to increase bid win rates.
  • Tasked with continuous marketing strategies which may include, but not limited to; campaign planning and strategy, logistics, content development, supplier and subconsultant liaising.
  • Reviewing, researching, data collection and sorting for ongoing project proposals, including, but not limited to; searching online bid and client/municipality web portals and relevant print and digital publications for RFP/RFQ leads.
  • Effective client relationship building and management as a representative and advocate for client’s branding and marketing awareness.
  • Database management and updates for corporate personnel profiles and case studies.
  • Must have 1-3 years of experience in Proposal Coordination or Technical Writing
  • A h2 writing, proofreading and editing background is a must
  • Committed to providing exceptional client service and experienced in client relations
  • Experience with Adobe CC and some graphic design and layout experience would be considered an asset
  • 2 years minimum experience in content development
  • Ability to successfully meet multiple project deadlines
  • Ability to manage project assignments from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure
  • Quick learner with the desire to continually develop their skills
  • Experience in leading proposal strategy and review meetings is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with multiple personality types
