P.Eng or EIT in Mining, Civil Engineering or equivalent

Their designers and engineers have enabled a paradigm shift in how mines approach their utilization of water and disposal of tailings waste. No longer must financial prudence and environmental management be in conflict.
Our client seeks a Project Coordinator to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to project deadlines and objectives. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for promoting safety culture, adhering to all provincial and federal laws, policy, internal controls and practices, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and upholding the company values.
Job Duties:
Attend daily meetings at various site locations
Attend safety and supervision meeting at various site locations
Responsible for the maintenance of project quantity tracking
Work directly with site supervision and coordinators
Creation of stewardship meeting documents
Assist stakeholders with the completion and execution of on-site estimating tasks
Assist with the creation of execution plans, schedules, etc.
Ensure the working environment is conducive to a safe, healthy and environmentally secure operation in the execution of logistics and special project assignments
Ensure frequent communication with all department heads to identify areas of concern and prioritize tasks based on need
Review current logistics, equipment status and make recommendations/justifications for changes or additions and resolve contractual issues with the client
Assist operations and maintenance leadership in removing constraints that affect their ability to meet or exceed the daily expectations
Assist with direction and planning for field survey technicians
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of related experience
Technical Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizing, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
